Waipa 2050 Growth Strategy completed.

Agreement for land access and use between Whitehall Fruitpackers Holdings Ltd and RS Sand Ltd.
2020-21
Resource testing, site selection and quarry design undertaken.
2021-22
Resource consent assessments undertaken.
2022
Waipa Transport Strategy completed.
Jan 2023
Stevenson Aggregates purchases Revital’s shares in RS Sand.
May 2023
RS Sand submits land use resource consent application for Newcombe Road Sand
June 2023
Request for further information (Section 92) from district and regional councils.
If consent approved:

Planned (if consent granted) start of construction of infrastructure and quarry.
YEAR 1-2
Planned development of wetlands and native forest along Karipiro Stream.
YEAR 2-3
Planned completion of Stage 1 of quarrying, rehabilitation and return to grazing.
