A consent application has been submitted to the Waipā District and Waikato Regional Councils to establish and operate the Newcombe Road Sand site at 77 Newcombe Road, Cambridge for a 25-year period.

77 Newcombe Road has been chosen for its quality resource, central location, and direct access to State Highway 1 and the Waikato Expressway. The proposed quarry is conveniently located between two large-scale markets in Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.

To ensure our impact on the environment is minimal, Newcombe Road Sand will be designed with the latest monitoring technology and equipment.

Sand is an integral component in constructing roads, rail, housing and community hubs like the Grassroots Trust Velodrome and the Mighty River Domain at Lake Karāpiro in Cambridge.
